A New Orleans man who identified himself as a Roblox game creator is now facing a total of 238 felony charges after prosecutors filed a new wave of counts stemming from a child sexual abuse material investigation, according to the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office.

Jamie Borne, 30, was rebooked March 31 on 195 counts of child sexual abuse material involving a child under 13 and two counts of sexual abuse of an animal, according to a newly filed arrest warrant. Borne had already been facing 40 counts of pornography involving juveniles under the age of 13 and one count of possessing, trafficking or importing a child sex doll. FOX 8

Borne made his first appearance on the new charges Thursday morning before Magistrate Judge Juana M. Lombard in Orleans Criminal District Court. His total bond was set at $345,500.

According to the arrest warrant, investigators reviewed evidence taken from a hard drive and found approximately 195 files of child sexual abuse material involving prepubescent children. The warrant also states that two of those files involved juvenile females performing sex acts with animals.

The warrant says the investigation began after probation and parole officers conducted a compliance check at Borne’s home in late February and reported seeing a child-size sex doll in plain sight. Probation officers then contacted Homeland Security Investigations and the Louisiana State Police. A subsequent search of the residence and forensic analysis of seized electronic devices, including hard drives, laptops and phones, led to the child sexual abuse material charges.

Borne was booked on Feb. 27, 2026, on the child sex doll charge, and again on March 17, 2026, on the initial 40 counts of child sexual abuse material. He also carries a probation hold stemming from a prior guilty plea to aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon and illegal discharge of a weapon.

Roblox confirmed that Mr. Borne was not a company employee. In a statement, the company said it has “deactivated his experiences and banned his accounts in accordance with our off-platform behavior policy” and noted that its platform allows unaffiliated individuals to build games governed by the company’s community standards.

The case comes amid a broader wave of state-level legal action targeting Roblox over child safety concerns. Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill filed a lawsuit against the platform in August 2025, and other states, including Kentucky, Florida and Tennessee, have since announced lawsuits or other legal actions, though the precise number of filed lawsuits — as distinct from investigations or subpoenas — could not be independently confirmed.

Under Louisiana law, simple possession of child sexual abuse material is punishable by 5 to 20 years at hard labor without parole, probation or suspension of sentence; when the victim is under 13 and the offender is 17 or older, the sentencing range is enhanced under La. R.S. 14:81.1.
